‘We had arranged a wedding with Le Meridien Hotel in Koh Samui and they had forwarded a couple of suggestions for photographers however after finding Thomas’ website we emailed him for further information.  He was very quick to respond and clarify the various options available without ever pressuring a decision. From the original contact to meeting Thomas the day before to discuss what we were looking for was very straightforward and relaxed.  He then blended seamlessly into the wedding and we are delighted with all of the photos from the day. We had arranged fireworks for the end of the night also and they slightly overran but Thomas was extremely accommodating in staying to ensure we got plenty of photos.’ Stuart and Charlotte.

It was November 2016, when Stuart contacted me by email to inquire my prices and availability for his upcoming wedding in 2017. Stuart’s wedding was scheduled for April 2017 at the Le Méridien Koh Samui Resort & Spa, a Resort that I had inspected a few months before. What is really fascinating at this resort is the 224-metres floating Ocean Pier, which can be used for romantic dinner in the evening and, of course, also for fantastic wedding celebrations. The resort is located along Koh Samui’s famous Lamai Beach, just 20 minutes south of Samui International Airport, offering stunning views across the Gulf of Thailand. With the outlook to photograph a wedding at this Resort, my enthusiasm was more than great. I wrote a short mail back with prices and my availability and waited for things to come. A couple weeks later Stuart got back to me one more time and shortly afterwards I was booked for his wedding. Luckily, we had already made a booking for another wedding just a few days before at The Outrigger Resort Koh Samui and we could extent our stay on the sunny island for some more days without traveling in and out. The day before the wedding we finally met the nice bridal couple along with the Celebrant to discuss the final details of the upcoming wedding. The wedding day then really started promising. After many previous rainy days, rather unusual in April, the weather showed itself at its best. A deep blue sky, traversed by white clouds offered a breathtaking backdrop. We reached the resort in the early afternoon and first photographed the preparations for the bride and her bridesmaids and then visited the groom who had finished for his wedding in a separate room. Time went by and we were on the way to the beach to capture the wedding ceremony of Stuart and Charlotte. For the rest of the wedding celebration I better let the wonderful wedding photos speak for themselves. Maybe you are just looking for a wedding photographer for your dream wedding in sunny Thailand – then just contact me. I photograph weddings at Koh Samui, Koh Phangan and everywhere in tropical paradise.
