Wedding at Koh Yao Yai – A beach wedding at Santhiya Resort & Spa
Getting married on Koh Yao Yai – one of the most beautiful islands in the Phuket region. This island, which many of you have probably never heard of, is located in the famous Phang Na Bay and delights its visitors with beautiful beaches and spectacular tropical landscapes. I must also mention the fantastic view of the imposing rock formations of the offshore islands. We also accompanied this charming couple on their beach wedding. The two fulfilled their dream and got married all by themselves on the beach at Santhiya Resort & Spa. This resort is nestled in a beautiful tropical setting and offers an incomparably beautiful backdrop for unforgettable wedding photos. The day before, we visited the bride and groom at the resort to discuss the upcoming wedding day and view the wedding location. Together with the wedding team at Santhiya Resort & Spa, we discussed some final minor changes and then arranged to meet the next morning for the photo shoot.
Fantastic picture-perfect weather greeted us early in the morning, and we took advantage of the many opportunities offered by this wonderful resort for an extensive photo shoot with the couple. The expansive sandy beach directly in front of the resort was our last stop, and after photographing all of our desired motifs, we escorted the couple back to their beautiful villa, which offered a fantastic view of the bay. After a short lunch break, we returned to accompany the couple with our cameras as they made their final preparations for the upcoming beach wedding, and then set off again to take the official wedding photos in their wedding outfits.
As the sun slowly set in the late afternoon, it was finally time for the couple to say “I do” on the beach at Santhiya Resort & Spa. The emotional wedding ceremony, conducted in German, ended with a sand ceremony and the long-awaited wedding kiss. Now the marriage certificate could be signed together with the registrar. After cutting the wedding cake, the bride and groom and the entire team from Santhiya Resort & Spa enjoyed a glass of sparkling wine and congratulated the newlyweds on their wedding. We wish them all the best on their journey through life together and thank them for allowing us to be part of this wonderful day.
