Getting Married in Paradise – A Beach Wedding on Koh Yao Noi
This beach wedding marked our second visit to the Paradise Resort on the beautiful island of Koh Yao Noi, and our excitement for this intimate celebration was immense. For this wedding, we not only handled the planning and organization and captured lasting memories with our photography, but I also had the honor of making my debut as a German-speaking officiant in Thailand.
We arrived a day before the wedding from Phuket via the resort’s speedboat and stayed in the neighboring bungalow to the couple. Even the journey was a dream: as the boat rounded the corner, the picturesque bay of the resort revealed its morning sunshine beauty—an absolutely breathtaking sight. The view from our bungalow overlooking the bay with its dramatic limestone cliffs is something that will stay with us for a long time. The stunning wedding setup, adorned with lush floral arrangements in white, rose, and pink, was arranged near the beach but shaded under a large tree, providing a perfect combination of beauty and comfort. In the early afternoon, I had the great honor of officiating the couple’s ceremony on the beach.
After the ceremony and before the evening’s candlelight dinner, we took full advantage of the paradise-like resort grounds for an extensive photoshoot, capturing the couple amidst tropical scenery and breathtaking vistas.
